This is a sketch of a mech that I did on grey cardboard and the colored with pencil crayons. This technique allow you to use the color of the cardboard as the main color source and then add bits of detail with other colors to give a 3D effect which I think I pulled off nicely with this piece. I could of improved the final piece by outlining more areas to make it stand out a bit more from the background.
